The Craftsman was a world premiere production written by Philly playwright Bruce Graham and directed by Craig Getting.
To be perfectly honest I was antsy about going in to this particular show. The video was written into the script and I didn't believe that the show needed video. It felt like a bit of flash and trash in an otherwise not particularly flashy production.
After relaying my concerns with Craig I definitely got a much better idea of what both Bruce and Craig were hoping for on the video side of things, and the video came out great! Sometimes simple is best.

Throughout the rehearsal and tech proecess, the opening segment loomed over me. "How should I paint this transition?" "How can I paint this transition?"
Luckily the purchase of a new set of transitions and stock textures came to the rescue. And I now present to you the first video on this video designer's website! (Please excuse the quality I took this on my cell phone!)
